The Kansas State Rifle Association (KSRA) will be having its annual members meeting and shooting festival on June 7 in Topeka, Kansas. Members are highly encouraged to attend the meetings which will be followed by a barbeque lunch and shooting events.

The Louisiana House Committee on Administration of Criminal Justice sided with law-abiding gun owners by defeating a bill that would have prohibited firearms on property belonging to the New Orleans Sewerage and Water Board.

The U.S. 7th Circuit Court of Appeals on Tuesday upheld strict gun control ordinances in Chicago and suburban Oak Park, Ill., setting the stage for a Supreme Court battle over whether the 2nd Amendment and its protection for gun owners extends to state and municipal laws.
